I'm not much of a trance person, but something I noticed was that after 0:26, there isn't a ton of melody going on. There could have been some textural shifts to add interest, such as removing the bass and having a tremolo pad with an evolving filter, or something as simple as an LFO on the filter resonance. Something else that could have been done is having a climax where you do use the melody again from the first 26 seconds. Hope that helps!

Sure does, I'll do better next time!

Nice evolving piece! Doesn't show off too much but it doesn't have to.

PixxlMan responds:

Thanks!

Takes a while to get going, but I can see the intent here. Good job nailing the vibe! However, there is an audio glitch at 0:17, and the choir overtakes the piano when it comes in at 2:24. Try to watch out for when your instruments step on each other.

JThunderProductions responds:

I knew about the audio glitch when I posted it. I'll be tweaking it later. The Choir is supposed to overtake the at 2:24, or be around the same audio level. It was intentional!
